Adam Duell

Rotating Graduate Student

Adam earned his BS in Biochemistry from the University of Puget Sound with a minor in physics. During undergrad he worked with tomato plants pursuing research on method development for protein extraction and analysis via LCMS. Due to a minor side project synthesizing YBCO superconductor, he developed an interest in inorganic materials, nanocrystals, and nanophotonics and is now pursuing a PhD in chemistry at UC Berkeley.

Outside of the lab, Adam is an avid ceramicist, glaze designer, and gardener with a special love for mountains.
